Highlights

Edo Castle (Imperial Palace East Gardens)
The political center of the Edo Shogunate. We will walk through the ruins of the main citadel (Honmaru), where the majestic stone walls and the Fujimi Yagura turret remain. We will stand at the very site where the legendary "Pine Corridor" (Matsu-no-Rōka)once existed—the invisible stage of the dramatic incident that triggered the story of the 47 Ronin.

Zojo-ji Temple
The family temple of the Tokugawa Shoguns. Through the graves of six Shoguns, we will explore how the Samurai's loyalty was connected to religious values and their view of life and death.

Lunch will be served at one of the refined restaurants within Tokyo Prince Hotel, located next to Zojoji Temple. Please select one of three restaurants: Japanese cuisine, a Chinese dim sum lunch course, Japanese BBQ (yakiniku), or Refined Lunch Buffet.
※The menus are pre-selected. Each restaurant offers a lunch course of the same premium quality, ensuring a high-standard experience whichever you choose.

Sengaku-ji Temple
The final resting place of the 47 Ronin. This is a symbolic site where the value of "Loyalty" has been passed down for centuries. We will visit the graves of the 47 samurai who sacrificed their lives for their master, tracing how Bushido (the way of the warrior) became an ideal moral code.

The tour concludes with a traditional tea ceremony experience at “Chazen,” located beside Kabukiza Theatre. In an authentic tea room designed in the traditional style, an experienced tea master will guide you through the process—from grinding tea leaves with a stone mill to preparing matcha—offering a genuine encounter with the art of tea. Discover the spirit of courtesy at the heart of Japanese culture and touch upon the true essence of omotenashi hospitality.
